Shots, Pills, & lots of Cash
So on March 21st I went to the travel clinic (actually called "infectious disease center") to get my immunizations. After tons of paperwork and waiting around a bunch of sick people, trying to guess if they are here for immunizations like me or if they have some disease that they are being treated for, the Dr. finally called me in. We spoke about what shots I would need and what pills she would prescribe. Then I had to go see the nurse for the actual shots. Four shots, not too bad, didn't really hurt at all, in my arm at least... I go back to the waiting room to pay for my visit and the shots and the woman smiles and says that will be $450 please. I looked up my eyes must have been huge and said "I'm sorry what did you say" (I heard her but was hoping I heard her wrong). She repeats herself and I begrudgingly hand over my credit card. Slowly adding the cost to the previous total of my trip and thinking o well can't really avoid it. A small price to pay for an amazing journey.

Good luck you two. You are about to embark on an incredible journey; one whose memories will remain with you for a lifetime! Stay safe, be well and enjoy this wondrous experience!
Love from the Beckers (especially Mrs. Becker (Meade) and Mike Meade/Becker)
Glad to see you made it okay! If it makes you feel any better, we're already in the 90s here...and it's only early June!
Hope all goes well for you both while you are there. Stay safe and keep those stories coming!
Love,
MaLori
